Fort Conde Inn is reportedly haunted by several ghosts, including that of a woman in black and a child named Emily, who lost her life in an epidemic during Fort Conde's time as a hospital during the Civil War. Guests and staff members have reported mysterious clawing sounds near the floor, and some have even witnessed furniture moving on its own! Other places to go ghost hunting include the Malaga Inn and the Church Street graveyard.

Located in Spanish Fort, AL 36527, the USS Alabama Battleship Memorial Park is another location that is said to be haunted by spirits from beyond. Bob's Downtown is the kind of place that everybody should visit at least once. As soon as you walk through the door, you will feel the welcoming atmosphere. This family-owned and operated diner has been around for nearly 40 years, and people have been eating at Bob's every time they visit Mobile, AL. Once you take a bite of their food, you will understand why this place is a mobile favorite!
Perfection over 50 years.
Bob's Downtown is popular as they have everything from breakfast to burgers and fries. There isn't anything on their menu that isn't delicious. The burgers are always cooked to perfection, and they are not just plain old burgers that taste like nothing but grease. They are also served with a side of delicious French fries or onion rings. People love the Turtle Burger, which includes Swiss cheese, bacon, and grilled onions. The fish filet sandwich is another of my favorites. They cook the fish just right so that it isn't chewy or over-cooked, and then they serve it with tartar sauce on a sesame seed bun. Since 1964, Bob's Downtown has been a Mobile institution, serving the best meals in the area. Bob's is well-known for its fatty sandwiches and mouthwatering burgers. You can customize your meal by ordering a Pimento Cheese Burger, a Chicken Fried Steak, or a Grilled Chicken Sandwich. The portions are substantial, and the atmosphere is even more substantial. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are all available. They have a little bit of stuff for everyone!
